Baseball and Hot Springs go back a long way

Hot Springs has a baseball story that visiting families often enjoy discovering. Majestic Park describes its site as an early major-league spring-training location, and the park still hosts youth baseball games and tournaments today. Visit Hot Springs notes that professional players came to the city for spring training across a long stretch of the late 1800s into the mid 1900s, and it publishes a self-guided Historic Baseball Trail for walking the city’s heritage.

We are an independent lodging venue, not the park operator and not a history source. The heritage belongs to the city and the park, so read it from them directly. Nothing here claims any historical tie between our building and that story.

Check the schedule before you book the beds

Tournament plans change, and they are set by the park and the event organizer, not by us. Before you commit to dates, confirm your games, check-in windows and field assignments with your organizer, then use the official calendar to see what is happening at the park.

Booking a stay here is separate from field or tournament arrangements. Reserving rooms with us does not reserve fields, game times or entry to any event, and we do not guarantee tournament participation. Think of us as the home base, and the park as where the games are played.

Parents, siblings and the long afternoon

A baseball weekend is long for people who are not playing. Brothers, sisters and grandparents need somewhere to be between innings. The game and gathering rooms, the pickleball court and the play area give families room to spread out without scattering across town.

For Hot Springs baseball teams and visiting families, two kitchens help with shared meals and early breakfasts. Plan who is cooking and shopping, and confirm any food arrangements directly. The property photos show a laundry room; ask about use and supplies before you pack.

Planning notes

A coach’s checklist for a Hot Springs baseball stay

Work through these questions with players and families before committing to your trip dates.

1

Count everyone, not just players

The 42-guest limit covers players, coaches, parents and siblings who sleep over. Get a firm list before you ask about dates.

2

Allocate rooms early

Decide who shares the bunk room, which bedrooms go to coaches, and which to families. Settled rooms mean a calmer arrival.

3

Remember the two-night minimum

Stays run at least two nights. Day-only events need special approval, so ask first.

4

Plan the shared meals

Decide who cooks and shops, and confirm your kitchen and food arrangements before arrival.

5

Confirm laundry and cage details

Ask about laundry use and supplies, cage arrangements and any equipment you plan to rely on before packing.

6

Verify the schedule with the organizer

Check game times and field details with your tournament or league, then share them with us so we can plan around arrivals.
